Dr. Niki Patrinopoulou
Dr. Niki Patrinopoulou holds a Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Patras, and a PhD in robotics and autonomy from the Department of Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering at the University of Patras. Her main research interests include robotics and swarming, optimization algorithms, and artificial intelligence. She was a member of the Greek national team for the International Physics Olympiad (IPhO) 2014, in which she received an Honourable Mention, and an intern at the European Astronaut Centre of the European Space Agency (ESA) for 6 months in 2019. Since 2020, she has worked in algorithm and software design and development in numerous EU and US funded R&D projects, and she has participated in publications in international conferences and research journals. She is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Patras and a research associate at the Computer Technology Institute and Press "Diophantus," where she works on various European research and development projects.
