Participation of Mr Periklis Ntentopoulos in a TAIEX TSI study visit in Stockholm, Sweden

Mr Periklis Ntentopoulos, associate of the CTI "DIOPHANTUS" and development team leader of the "Training Voucher" System, participated in the study visit entitled "Matching MIS beneficiaries with labour demand – best practices from an AI-advanced country", which took place in Stockholm from 2 February 2026 to 4 February 2026.

The study visit is part of the technical assistance project "Improving job matching and career progression of Minimum Income Scheme (MIS) beneficiaries through digital solutions and AI". The project is carried out with funding by the European Union via the Technical Support Instrument, and implemented by the OECD, in cooperation with the Reform and Investment Task Force (SG REFORM) of the European Commission.

The aim of this study visit was to familiarise the participants with the digital and AI-powered solutions implemented by an AI-advanced EU country (in this case Sweden), with the aim to explore how these solutions match Minimum Income Scheme (MIS) beneficiaries and vulnerable jobseekers more broadly, with labour demand and recommend suitable career pathways.

At the same time, participants had the opportunity to examine how these solutions are integrated within the broader processes and practices of the Swedish Public Employment Service (Arbetsförmedlingen) to strengthen support for vulnerable groups, how these practices ensure good performance of these solutions, and how they could potentially be adapted to Belgium and Greece.

Mr Ntentopoulos’ participation in this study visit strengthens the connection of the CTI "DIOPHANTUS" with the recent technological advancements and serves as a catalyst for the digital transition of the "Training Voucher" System and the future application of AI methods in the fields of training and employment.
